Due to disruptions in oil transportation through the Strait of Hormuz, the prices of raw materials and energy continue to rise. As a result, production costs in China are increasing across the board, including costs related to transportation, natural gas, fertilizers, resins, and sulfuric acid.
Vitamins
Market prices for Vitamin A and Vitamin E are rising steadily. Export transaction volumes for Vitamin D3 are increasing. Vitamin B6 producers have raised prices slightly, while Vitamin B12 manufacturers have increased prices once again. Transaction prices for Vitamin C are up, and Vitamin B1 prices are slowly rising. Choline chloride manufacturers have raised prices again. Vitamin K3 producers are scheduling shipments through July, with strong transaction activity.
Amino Acids
For L-Lysine HCL 98.5% producers raised their quotes last week, while 70% L-Lysine HCL prices remained relatively stable. L-Threonine producers have increased their quotations. Other amino acids—including leucine, isoleucine, valine, and methionine—have also seen price increases.
Food Additives
In the sweetener segment, sucralose transaction prices are rising due to raw material market conditions, and further price increases are possible. Creatine monohydrate prices continue to rise slowly but steadily, with deliveries currently scheduled through mid-to-late April.
Minerals and Salts
Driven by rising sulfuric acid costs, sulfate products—such as ferrous sulfate, manganese sulfate, zinc sulfate, and magnesium sulfate—are seeing sustained price increases. This will have a certain impact on the feed, food production, and mineral supplement industries.
